Is my credit card information secure?


The People's Pharmacy Store uses a secure server with 128-bit SSL encryption to provide maximum protection for your personal and credit card information.

The "Security Code" is a three digit code printed on the back of your credit card. Often it appears after the last four digits of your credit card number. We ask for your security code to provide increased protection against unauthorized use of your card.

For your security, the People's Pharmacy website does not retain your credit card number after your order is complete. You will need to re-enter your credit card number for each new purchase.

If you leave the People's Pharmacy website before clicking "Complete Order," your credit card information is not retained. You will need to re-enter your credit card number if you return to the site to place your order.

How do I get my In Depth Guide?


When you purchase an In Depth Guide, you receive an electronic file in PDF format. Once your order is complete, you will be sent an email message with the subject "Download Instructions." The email message will include links to all PDFs. If you use Earthlink, you must set your spam blocker to accept messages from orders@peoplespharmacy.com. Otherwise your download instructions will be blocked and you will not receive the links.

If you are unable to download your guide or if you did not receive the download instructions, contact support@peoplespharmacy.com and we will either re-send the download instructions or send you a printed copy of the guide by mail.

To view the PDF, you need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Click here to download the free Acrobat Reader. Any Windows or Macintosh computer purchased within the past three years likely has the Acrobat Reader pre-installed. However, for security reasons we recommend that all our customers upgrade to Acrobat Reader 8.0. Click here to download the latest version of Acrobat Reader.

My guide was garbled/unreadable.

When you purchase an In Depth Guide, you receive an electronic file in PDF format. Sometimes in transmission the PDF file is corrupted. The guide may appear garbled, or a very long nonsense text file. Or you may not be able to open the file at all.

If this happens, you may be able to resolve the problem by downloading a new copy of your guide. Locate the email with the subject "Download Instructions" for links to download your guides. If you can not find this email message, contact support@peoplespharmacy.com and we will resend the instructions.

If you are unable to read your guide by either of the methods listed above, contact support@peoplespharmacy.com and we will send you a printed copy of the guide by mail.

I didn't get an email receipt for my purchase.

Some ISPs (such as Earthlink) have spam protection to blocks all email except from pre-approved senders. If you use Earthlink or another ISP with similar spam protection, you must set your spam blocker to allow email from "orders@peoplespharmacy.com" If you do not make this change, you will not receive the email confirmation of your purchase, which includes download instructions for your in depth guides.

What is an account? Do I need one?

When you place an order at the People's Pharmacy Store, you have the options of  saving your personal information in a secure account. This allows you to view past receipts and download in-depth guides you have previously purchased. When you visit the People's Pharmacy store again for future purchases, you will not need to enter your information again.

If you prefer, you can place your order without creating an account. You will not have a password to remember, but you will need to re-enter your information with every purchase.

For your security, the People's Pharmacy website does not retain your credit card number after your order is complete even if you create an account. You will need to re-enter your credit card number for each new purchase.

Your email address is your user ID at the People's Pharmacy Store. Please do not try to create a new account with the same email address you have used to purchase before. Instead, enter your email address and the password you used when you created the account in the "Returning Customer" box. If you do not remember your password, click the link marked "Forgot your password? Email it to me!" and your password will be mailed to you at the email address you originally used to create the account. If you do not remember or no longer have access to the email address you used to create the account, contact  support@peoplespharmacy.com

Error Message: That E-mail Address is Already Used By Another Customer

When you place an order at the People's Pharmacy Store, you can choose to save your personal information in a customer secure account, or place your order without creating an account.

Your email address is your user ID at the People's Pharmacy Store. If you create an accout with a previous order, and then later select "Skip Login & Checkout" and try to place a new order with the same email address, you will see the error message "that e-mail address is already used by another customer."

If this happens, you have 2 options:

  1. Click the link marked "If you already have an account with us, sign in here." You will be taken to a login page for your account. If you do not remember your password, click the button to have a new password e-mailed to you.
  2. You can also skip the account login and simply use another email address. Be sure to use a valid email address to which you have access. Your receipt and all other information about your order will be sent to this email address.
